This big project in Streatham was completed just in time for winter, and the client wanted 7 casement windows, 5 sash windows, 1 front door and 2 patio doors to be replaced. The below photo shows the house before its makeover, and, if you make it to the end, you will see the finshed product in all its modernized and vibrant glory!
Curved Casement Windows
These beautifully designed meranti hardwood casement windows below were made like-for-like. The client picked out a dark grey colour for both exterior and interior (RAL 9004 from the RAL Classic Palette), which looks very smart against the warm, red brick.

The back windows were a variety of both sash and casement, and you can see the significant improvement in quality. The client had also clearly thought carefully about sticking to a colour theme and barely changing their designs from the original, in order to keep their authenticity.

Front Door
The client chose the front door colour (with frame) to be RAL 1021. This colour is called 'Traffic Yellow' and the client said that, because her door would be the only on her street with such a bright colour, guests would have no problem finding her house!
We also recommended a few stained glass companies to get in contact with, and in the end the client went with Specialist Glass Co. https://www.specialistglass-london.co.uk/ who are based in Sidcup. They worked closely together through iterations of several pattern designs until it was finalised, and during installation they were placed inside double glazed units to ensure minimum heat loss to the outside.

Patio Doors
It was important to the client that the stained glass fanlight for the patio doors (below) was preserved and retained during the door replacement, which we were happy to do. The frame around the fanlight would then be painted over in white.

As promised, below is a photo after the entire renovation had been completed, along with the review our client had kindly left for us. What a variety of colours so pleasing to the eye!
